Eugene "Gene" Davis is our Department of Homeland Security consultant and liaison on all matters connected with US security and integrity procedures. He retired as Deputy Chief of Border Patrol stationed in Blaine Washington in 2000. Since then he has been called upon as a consultant in border security matters and has recently returned from a year in Geogia (formally part of the USSR). Gene brings a wealth of knowledge of the different implementation issues that govern the US and how the integrated teams work with their Canadian counterparts but still retain their jurisdictional boundaries.

Along with his Canadian colleague Dick Grattan, he was one of the "founding members" of the team which later became IBET and which now is often referred to as the Border Integrity Team. These specialist units are continually evolving with the changes to policy regarding national secuirity issues and the ever resourceful criminals who are constantly looking for the "hole in the wall".

By keeping in touch with current serving colleagues in the Department of Homeland Security, Gene Davies is able to make sure the series depicts with accuracy the challenges facing those protecting their countries national security.
